About the Role

MCF Highrise Forming Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct and install building components, such as foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
  • Maintain and repair existing buildings and structures, including residences, commercial properties, and industrial facilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks that require manual labor and heavy lifting.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, such as construction or carpentry.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
