Job Description

About the Role

COWI A/S is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative bridge solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement bridge design concepts that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that bridge designs are feasible, safe, and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and perform other functions as required to ensure that bridge projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure that bridge projects are delivered successfully.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that bridge designs are innovative and effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in bridge design and construction.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design codes, such as CSA-S6, CSCE, and AASHTO.
  • Experience with structural analysis software, such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, and SOFiSTiK.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
