The Abbotsford branch of RBC Dominion Securities is looking for an Associate to become part of a dedicated advisory team focused on delivering wealth management solutions to affluent clients. In this role, you will contribute to business growth by providing outstanding service and managing administrative responsibilities related to client accounts while addressing client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage professional communication through incoming calls and emails from clients, advisors, and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist Investment Advisors with general administrative tasks in the oversight of client accounts.
- Support the preparation of client reviews and presentations for Investment Advisors.
- Gather necessary information and documentation from clients to facilitate account openings and maintain up-to-date client files.
- Ensure timely follow-up on client trades for proper settlement and delivery.
- Track all pending transfers to guarantee their completion within the expected timeframe.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong time management abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering exemplary client service characterized by professionalism, warmth, and friendliness.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in Wealth Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures is advantageous.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the securities industry.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
