Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of a First Nation Land Governance Registry (FNLGR) in collaboration with the Lands Advisory Board (LAB).
- Work closely with external clients, executives, and senior leadership to develop the new registry and associated processes.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Prepare comprehensive project management documentation, including project plans and governance strategies.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain project integrity and timelines.
- Mentor and support other project teams and contribute to the enhancement of project management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience managing complex projects with diverse requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects exceeding $10 million and lasting over five years.
- Experience in business analysis, agile methodologies, and organizational change management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving capabilities.
