Key Responsibilities- Work Schedule: Full-time, ranging from 37.5 to 44 hours per week.
- Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role.
Join a dynamic bake shop where you will:
- Prepare various doughs and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, breads, muffins, and cakes, following established recipes or special requests.
- Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering necessary materials and supplies.
- Oversee the baking process of mixed doughs and batters.
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Ensure the quality of products meets our high standards through regular inspections.
- Supervise a team of 5-10 baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent manual dexterity.
