Position Overview
Your Responsibilities:
As a Marine Insurance Customer Advisor, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their watercraft insurance needs. Your expertise will help ensure that our customers receive tailored advice and solutions to maintain their coverage effectively.
Reporting to the Marine Program Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries and concerns via various communication channels.
- Managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
- Providing clear explanations of coverage options to clients.
- Updating clients on their current policies and any potential changes.
- Processing policy modifications, endorsements, and cancellations as requested.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and documentation.
- Guiding clients through the claims process and liaising with insurance providers as necessary.
- Supporting cross-selling initiatives for additional insurance products.
Candidate Profile
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education.
- Registered Insurance Broker (Ontario) with a focus on service excellence.
- Willingness to obtain national licensing (excluding Quebec).
- Relevant industry designations such as CAIB, CPIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Power Broker or Epic software is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to provide client-centered solutions and foster long-term relationships.
- Knowledge of watercraft insurance products is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
