Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is a Canadian Crown corporation leading the Gordie Howe International Bridge project, a once-in-a-generation undertaking worth $6.4 billion (CDN). This ambitious project includes the delivery of four major components: the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America, the largest Canadian and US Ports of Entry (POE) along the Canada-US border, and a new interchange creating a direct connection into the Michigan Interstate system.

Administrator, Operations Position

The Administrator, Operations will provide critical support to the Director, Operations Oversight and the Crossing Operations and Maintenance team. Key responsibilities include day-to-day administrative tasks, drafting corporate reports, tracking initiatives, and preparing presentations. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's success by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of team and organizational business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, Operations Oversight and the Crossing Operations and Maintenance team
  • Draft corporate reports and track initiatives
  • Prepare presentations and assist with document preparation
  • Oversee department scheduling and arrange meeting locations
  • Ensure all department activities are conducted in accordance with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in office management in an operations setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Personnel Screening/Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel within Ontario and Michigan
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
