Job Title: Shipping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at Truck Hardware Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the shipping and receiving activities at our warehouse. This includes coordinating activities with other work units or departments, resolving work problems, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Work Environment:

The Shipping Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
