Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Seniors Health and Wellness Centre in Kelowna. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to clients in a community care setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess and recommend individualized treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to clients in a community care setting
  • Assess and recommend individualized treatments in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Act as the primary resource for drug information, education, and expert advice to healthcare professionals
  • Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal, and economic use of drugs
  • Maintain workload records and statistics

Qualifications
  • Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1); or a combination of at least one year of full-time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses; or a combination of at least 3 years of full-time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge, and experience
  • Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
