IT Solutions Architect – Information Technology Systems

The role of the IT Solutions Architect is to conceptualize, develop, and supervise comprehensive technology solutions across key platforms such as Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday. This position is vital for connecting intricate business challenges with innovative technological answers, ensuring that our organization's technology strategy is in perfect alignment with its business objectives and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and integrate scalable, efficient technology solutions, considering agility, DevSecOps, enterprise architecture guidelines, API design, and solution interdependencies; Perform feasibility studies and risk evaluations for proposed systems; Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all designed solutions; Proactively identify and suggest strategies to manage and minimize technical debt; Provide expert support on public cloud platforms (such as Azure), low-code platforms (such as Appian), data lakes and warehousing (such as Snowflake), data science platforms (such as Dataiku), and ERP systems (such as Workday), offering insights into effective API design and management of solution dependencies; Mentor and educate team members on emerging technologies and best practices; Collaborate with business leaders to comprehend and anticipate their requirements; Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution; Conduct regular audits and assessments of solutions for optimization; Ensure data integrity and privacy in all solutions; Research and recommend new technologies or processes for operational enhancement; Implement projects or training across various sites; Facilitate communication between IT and other departments; Collaborate closely with teams from other locations.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field; a master's degree in computer science is a plus; Extensive experience with Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday (8+ years); TOGAF Certification is advantageous; Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions (5+ years); Leadership experience in managing technology projects (5+ years); Proficiency in English is essential as this role supports a global team; knowledge of French and Spanish is beneficial; Relevant certifications in the aforementioned platforms are considered an asset; This position may involve travel depending on project requirements.
