Job Title: Solution Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team at Global Excel Management Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing comprehensive technology solutions across major platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Architect and integrate scalable, efficient technology solutions, considering agility, DevSecOps, enterprise architecture guidance, API design, and solution dependencies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designed solutions.
  • Actively identify and propose strategies to manage and reduce technical debt.
  • Provide subject matter expert support on public cloud, low-code platform, data lake, data warehousing, data science platform, and ERP platform.
  • Mentor and train other team members on new technologies and best practices.
  • Engage with business leaders to understand and anticipate their needs.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of solutions for optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity and privacy in all solutions.
  • Research and propose new technologies or processes for operational improvement.
  • Implement projects or training throughout our different sites.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
  • Extensive experience with Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday (8+ years).
  • The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Certification an asset.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions (5+ years).
  • Leadership experience in managing technology projects (5+ years).
  • English speaking is required as this role supports a global reach team. French and Spanish is an asset.
  • Relevant certifications in the aforementioned platforms are considered an asset.
