Job Title: Guest Services Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Agent to join our team at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, handling room reservations and cancellations with ease.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area, to enhance our guests' experience.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing the well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Assist guests with special needs, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring they start their day on a positive note.
Requirements:
  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
