Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Previce Home Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients.
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Administer first aid and respond to emergencies.
  • Document patient care and progress.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Nursing Aide Certificate.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Sound discrimination.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
