Technica Mining is seeking a skilled Development Supervisor to oversee mining activities at our Sudbury, ON site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations, supervising subordinate crews, and maintaining compliance with standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily briefings and hold crews accountable for safety, housekeeping, teamwork, and professionalism on-site.
  • Maintain and enforce safe work conditions to ensure all work is in compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Provide safety and technical support to crews.
  • Lead crew activities to optimize resource utilization, manpower, tools, and equipment towards the goal of optimizing the mining cycle at the mine.
  • Supervise subcontractors as required.
Qualifications:
  • First Line Production Supervisor Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (Program #770121 or #770141).
  • 5 years of related supervising experience in underground development mining or production workings preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
  • Must be open to working at any of the underground mine sites in Sudbury that Technica operates at.
