Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting and training drivers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process with comprehensive training materials and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and feasibility of upcoming routes.
- Confirming driver participation for the following day's operations.
- Overseeing the loadout process, addressing issues such as missing items and cancellations.
- Ensuring drivers comply with SOPs and maintain high performance metrics.
- Managing the hub mailbox and overseeing logistics coordinators to meet operational standards.
- Coordinating with various support teams (Dispatch, Call Center, Claims, etc.) to address inquiries and requests.
- Handling escalations and resolving customer complaints effectively.
- Assisting warehouse and returns departments with inquiries and investigations.
- Managing property and item claims, liaising with the Claims department as necessary.
- Ensuring completion of end-of-day tasks, including printing driver packages and confirming route coverage.
- Conducting route audits for drivers and company vehicles.
- Assisting with customer pickups, including locating items, managing paperwork, and loading.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent experience in logistics.
