The ideal candidate will possess a profound technical comprehension of on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructures, along with a successful history of managing SRE teams in a global context.
Technical Proficiency:
Have an extensive understanding of on-premise and hybrid cloud systems, focusing on enhancing performance and low-latency on Kubernetes platforms that support a robust developer experience framework.
Foster operational excellence through proactive monitoring, automation, and the establishment of effective incident management processes.Software Development Expertise:
Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate SRE best practices into the software development lifecycle, including the design of scalable and resilient systems.
Incident Management:
Oversee incident response initiatives, ensuring swift resolution and conducting post-incident analyses to avert future occurrences. Develop and sustain meaningful performance metrics and reporting tools to monitor the health and reliability of our systems. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and prioritization.
Project Leadership:
Serve as a technical authority on projects, architecting designs that fulfill business objectives while aligning with the existing architectural vision. Collaborate with subject matter experts and a network of peers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Strong software engineering capabilities, including proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, and Perl.Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities with a proven track record of cultivating high-performing teams, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in such a role.
