POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently in search of a Fleet Mechanic to contribute to our operations. The primary duties of this role include conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on all company vehicles and equipment, including gas, diesel, and propane engines, as well as servicing private vehicles, tractors, and trailers. A valid 310T certification is required for this position. The expected work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Starting Salary: $39.00

Reporting to the Garage Manager, the key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment
  • Conducting test drives of vehicles
  • Potentially changing wheels and tires
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Adhering to procedures related to documentation and accurately completing vehicle maintenance reports
  • Responding to service calls as needed
  • Executing other assigned tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and testing procedures relevant to the transportation sector
  • Capability to work safely and effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Physically fit, with the ability to perform heavy lifting
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Possession of a GZ or DZ driver's license is preferred
