About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Buyer to join our team at Adhara Trading Corporation. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in procuring high-quality merchandise for resale, while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Merchandise Management: Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Supply Chain Management: Supervise the work of other buyers, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Market Research: Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, with occasional travel to trade shows and supplier meetings.
