About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at MAIN AVENUE COLD BEER & LIQUOR STORE LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, including trial balance and other financial statements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Work Setting: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently and under pressure.
