Pastry Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Pastry Specialist to join our team at Simply Biscotti. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough and batters for a range of pastry products, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, according to recipes and special customer orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our established standards of quality, taste, and appearance.
- Machinery Operation: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment used in the production process.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with frequent standing and walking.
- Physical Capabilities: Possess the physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
- Dependability and Reliability: Demonstrate a strong commitment to dependability and reliability, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Language and Communication: Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
- Hours of Work: Work a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position.
