We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Queensborough. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our child care centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Activity Leadership: Lead activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
- Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, including preparing snacks and arranging rooms for meals and rest periods.
- Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and community service providers.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on children's progress and development for parents and supervisors.
- Staff Meetings: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Certifications: Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
- Security Clearance: Criminal record check and medical exam.
- Personal Qualities: Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Work Setting: Child care centre.
- Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
