Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at 2585398 ALBERTA CORPORATION. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our sites.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate Cleaning Operations: Plan and coordinate the cleaning schedules, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to a high standard and that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
- Inspect Sites: Conduct regular site inspections to identify any areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money.
- Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting or repairs, and recommend these to management.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and equipment maintenance.
- Receive Payments: Handle payments for specialized cleaning jobs, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning schedules and operations are aligned with their needs.
- Establish Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules for cleaning staff, ensuring that all areas are covered and that staff are working efficiently.
- Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Language: Be fluent in English.
- Relocation: Be willing to relocate for this position.
- Education: Have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
