About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Northern Cleaners Whitehorse Limited. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive experience for our clients.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
