Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at itec group, Inc. as a key member of our custom automation solutions team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, specifically in custom automation equipment, and a mastery of SolidWorks. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in designing innovative automated systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of precision and quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom automation equipment and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and designs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and automation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in custom automation equipment
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Experience in automation for specific industries such as automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or packaging
  • Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, or electrical design
