Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Delivery Coordinator acts as the primary liaison for customers concerning delivery inquiries, special requests, and return-to-vendor processes. This role requires maintaining communication with drivers to ensure efficient deliveries, addressing any challenges, sourcing products, and coordinating with customers to confirm accuracy in product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules. The coordinator is also tasked with ensuring the accuracy of inventory reports by updating records for returned items and managing the process for defective or returned products.

Your Contributions

  • Guide sales personnel on delivery services, including timing and product placement
  • Provide estimates for deliveries outside designated areas and additional services
  • Review special requests for completeness and correctness
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery specifics and address inquiries
  • Maintain contact with drivers, update records post-delivery, and document any issues for tracking purposes
  • Make order modifications as directed by sales or customers, including substitutions and cancellations, ensuring timely execution
  • Check in drivers, process payments, and verify documentation
  • Match paperwork, document changes, and file appropriately
  • Contact suppliers for replacement parts, manage defective items, and handle warranty issues
  • Adjust inventory for returned products and monitor reasons for returns, reporting persistent issues to the Operations Manager
  • Investigate product complaints, determine accountability for damages or defects, and negotiate with suppliers for replacements or credits
  • Perform other relevant duties as necessary

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain order in delivery and special-order areas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and internal systems like RONA's Transport Management System
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and responsive to issues with urgency
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Comprehensive knowledge of special-order products and ordering procedures
