Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:
The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a qualified Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the kindergarten program. As a key member of our educational team, you will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to plan, implement, and assess learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement learning experiences that promote student growth and development
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and implement curriculum
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to share student progress and involve them in the educational process
- Work with the teaching team to provide guidance, feedback, and resource supports to students and families
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in early child development or a 2-year post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Minimum of 2-3 years recent experience in related child care required with current working knowledge of child development
