We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team at Transam Carriers Inc.

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Will train
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Operations: Load and unload goods, operate and drive trucks to transport materials, and oversee vehicle condition.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A, Class 3 or D)
  • Documentation knowledge including accident reports and driver logbook
Additional Skills:
  • Experience with communication systems
  • Transportation/travel experience on international, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial routes
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
