Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Saskatchewan Ltd. as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role in our restaurant team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people.
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and team player.
