New Value Solutions, a leading IT consulting company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team and contribute to the development of business applications through thorough testing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure comprehensive testing of all functional requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to guarantee thorough coverage of all business processes.
  • Test customizations, configurations, and integrations to ensure they meet business requirements and function seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
  • Coordinate manual testing efforts for areas where automation is not available, ensuring thorough testing of complex scenarios, user workflows, and custom processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify key test cases, and ensure early detection of defects.
  • Manage defect identification, documentation, prioritization, and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that testing processes comply with industry standards, organizational policies, and best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, including test coverage, defect rates, and system performance, and present these findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test cases, and testing results.
  • Evaluate and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Automation testing experience with Selenium is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, and others.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, WebLogic, or Dot NET.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with manual testing techniques and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate testing strategies, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
