Job Description

Job Title: Client Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Service Manager to join our team at Paladin Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing the leadership and growth of our security programs for all Paladin contracts in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Security Programs: Assist in the development of short- and long-range goals and objectives, ensuring that such plans support the goals, policies, and vision of Paladin Security Group.
  • Oversee Security Operations: Develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate the security programs for Paladin's contracts.
  • Resource Management: Oversees and schedules the appropriate resources to ensure all of the company's contractual obligations are met.
  • Client and Staff Support: Takes ownership of staff and client issues and supports the timely response to both groups.
  • Relationship Building: Develops and maintains excellent relationships with the clients in the portfolio.
  • Human Resources Support: Performs interviews to support Human Resources to ensure sufficient resources are available to meet the company's contractual obligations.
  • Site Training and Orientation: Ensures there are thorough site training and employee orientations programs in place at all sites within the portfolio.
  • Client and Staff Visits: Visits with clients and the staff assigned to the sites regularly and ensures the needs of both the client and staff are met.
  • Account Management: Monitors all accounts receivable of clients within the portfolio and assists accounting when needed to ensure all accounts are kept up to date.
  • Incident Reporting: Monitors daily and nightly reports and Incident Reports and takes appropriate action on the reports that are related to sites within the portfolio.
  • Security Plan Coordination: Ensures overall coordination of Paladin contract security plans by: developing and maintaining the security program; developing and maintaining facility plans and related documentation; coordinating and evaluating security and fire safety system and process testing requirements; ensuring regulatory requirements are met; and providing direction to related committees within the Paladin health care contracts.
  • Security Education: Supports other Paladin wide programs by delivering education/awareness sessions on security issues as required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Management Experience: Minimum of one year of management experience of employees and client services is essential.
  • Education: A graduate degree in Business or Health Care Administration or related discipline and specialized training in protection services or criminology; or equivalent education and experience is an asset.
  • Security Experience: Minimum of three years supervisory/managerial experience in security and / or fire safety services.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial/national standards on fire safety, building codes, security, and protection of privacy.
  • Leadership Skills: Must have strong leadership, social interaction, and organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write and present proposals to large organizations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: An interest in social activity used to build client relationships by fostering an excellent client / service provider connection.
  • Creativity: Creative ability to foster new and better ways to perform and succeed.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Leadership Skills: Must have strong leadership, social interaction, and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write and present proposals to large organizations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professionalism: High level of professionalism.
  • Reporting Skills: Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and provincial/national standards on fire safety, building codes, security, and protection of privacy.
  • Availability: Usual business hours of work with after hours and weekend availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Reliable Vehicle: Must have a reliable working vehicle.
  • Driver's License: Class G Driver's License is required.
  • Paladin Mobile Division Experience: Experience with Paladin Mobile Division is an asset.
