Job Summary

WOODHILL DEVELOPMENT LTD is seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to effectively supervise workers and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Prepare production and other reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Training: Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure workers have the necessary skills to complete tasks.
  • Staffing: Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Set up machines and equipment and ensure they are in good working order.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site.
  • Communication: Read blueprints and drawings and communicate effectively with workers and other stakeholders.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a construction management role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
