About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of front desk staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of front desk staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Office Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the front office, including managing the registration and check-out process, processing customer payments, and maintaining accurate room status information.
  • Training and Development: Support the training and development of front desk staff, including providing guidance on systems, security, and cash handling procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality position, preferably in a front office or customer service role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in property operating systems, such as Opera and Maestro, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an asset.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
