Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Co-op to join our team at Svante. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Order to Pay process, collaborating with the Supply Chain team on implementing the MRP module in Microsoft Dynamics, and conducting data analysis to support supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the workflows associated with Svante's Order to Pay process, including identifying a need to purchase, sourcing, creating a purchase requisition, approving purchases, and placing a Purchase Order with a supplier.
  • Place Purchase Orders created in the company's ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Identify issues with the Order to Pay process and report to the implementation team accordingly.
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm receipt of Purchase Orders.
  • Work closely with the Senior Buyer and the Supply Chain team in implementing the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) module within Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Conduct data analysis related to supply chain activities.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institute and have completed 2nd or 3rd year in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong data analysis and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Understanding of the Order to Pay cycle and workflows.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Outlook specifically).
