Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Small Engine Mechanic Helper to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist tradespersons and other workers in performing various tasks related to heavy equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespersons and other workers in performing maintenance tasks on heavy equipment
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment:

Our work site is located outdoors and can be noisy and cold/refrigerated at times. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a large workload
  • Manual dexterity and ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Personal Qualities:
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
Work Conditions:

This is a temporary position with a variable schedule of 37.5 to 48 hours per week. You will be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
