The Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant arts community that reflects the diverse cultural landscape of our society. We are committed to building partnerships and initiatives that enhance the cultural fabric of our communities.

Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as a dynamic and strategic leader. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for advancing the CHRC's mission and ensuring the organization operates effectively within the arts ecosystem. The individual will leverage organizational resources to strengthen partnerships and enhance community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
Guide the development and execution of the strategic plan in collaboration with the Board and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Community Engagement
Act as the public representative of the organization, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, arts councils, and community organizations. - Operational Excellence
Oversee the implementation of operational strategies that enhance organizational capacity and promote a culture of inclusion and equity. - Financial Stewardship
Ensure the financial health of the organization by managing budgets, securing funding, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of progressive leadership experience within the arts and culture sector. They will demonstrate a proven ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders, along with exceptional public speaking skills.
