Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and maintenance support for the entire plant, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production, packaging, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PLCs, relays, transformers, and calibration/instrumentation.
  • Follow all relevant safety protocols, regulations, and codes to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvement opportunities, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance plant operations and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Certified Licensed Electrician with experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code and ability to work with HMI systems, including PanelView and PanelView Plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial troubleshooting experience and knowledge of Total Performance Management (TPM) principles.
  • Experience with PLC systems, including Allan Bradley RS 500 and Allan Bradley RS 5000.

Compensation:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $44.37.
