Position Title: Technical Support Engineer I

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

As a Technical Support Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in providing expert assistance to Kubota dealers and internal teams. Your focus will be on enhancing product knowledge, improving training methodologies, and ensuring the efficiency of repair and maintenance operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver technical assistance to Kubota dealers and internal departments through various communication channels, aiming to resolve issues promptly during initial contact.
  • Collect and analyze components from the field to identify failure causes, reporting findings and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Communicate service updates and solutions to dealers and company personnel through various formats, including bulletins and direct conversations.
  • Conduct training sessions for dealers and internal staff on Kubota products and service techniques.
  • Assist the Sales Organization during events, addressing product inquiries and concerns from the field.
  • Continuously enhance your product knowledge through self-directed learning and participation in technical training.
  • Monitor market trends and product developments, providing relevant feedback as necessary.
  • Ensure a comprehensive Dealer Support Experience by focusing on connection, development, and training.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of service-oriented training programs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with at least one year of experience in a service-related role. Alternatively, three years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Successful completion of the KUBOTA Service Engineer in Training curriculum within two years of employment is required.
  • Ability to analyze information and communicate effective repair solutions is essential.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Candidates must be capable of performing repairs on all Kubota equipment and possess a valid driver's license for operating vehicles on public roads. Independent travel may be required.
