Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
- Set staff work schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Supervise staff, provide guidance and support, and address performance issues promptly.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop strategies to improve employee performance.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate arrangements with suppliers, and manage relationships with vendors.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and develop strategies to increase sales and drive business growth.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage events, including catering, promotions, and in-store activities.
- 11-15 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Food Safety Certificate and other relevant certifications.
