Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our collegial team at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing a panel of patients, providing care and coordination of community-based care, and operating within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Responsibilities- Manage a panel of hospitalist patients
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- Standard work week is 7 days on, 7 days off
- Open to discuss alternative scheduling
- Remuneration includes a daily rate and fee-for-service billings
- Sessional rates for callback services available
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
