Position Overview

Aim Transport is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Logistician to enhance our operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in managing logistics and ensuring seamless coordination across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate Activities: Collaborate with different work units to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics performance.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Arrange for necessary maintenance and repair work to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Problem Resolution: Address work-related issues, providing technical advice and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on duties and company policies.
  • Work Assignment: Co-ordinate, assign, and review tasks among team members.
  • Material Requisition: Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize workflow.
  • Logistics Planning: Organize and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Technical Skills
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is essential.
