BlackBerry QNX Software Systems Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C++ software developer to join our ADAS team at BlackBerry QNX. As a software systems developer, you will be responsible for creating camera systems for consumer use, leveraging fast CPUs and internet connectivity to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new software written primarily in C and C++
  • Work with the multimedia team to integrate video codecs for encoding or decoding
  • Collaborate with the team to create a direction for our product and implement it

Requirements:

  • Experience with Linux and/or Android
  • Device driver experience on any platform (DMA, interrupts, memory mapping, etc.)
  • Technical understanding of multimedia frameworks, codecs, containers, and streaming formats
  • Technical understanding of image processing (OpenCV, OpenGL, etc.)
  • Personal time projects in software considered an asset
  • Photography as a hobby is an asset
