We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Youth & Family Therapist to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our residential program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional therapeutic services to children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to promote emotional growth, social development, and behavioral change.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social work, child and youth care, or psychology.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a residential setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
