We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our Digital Learning team at the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of our online courses and programs.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with instructional designers and IT team to ensure seamless integration of our LMS with our Community Management System (Drupal).
- Utilize your expertise in Moodle to recommend delivery strategies that enhance the learning experience.
- Customize environments and source solutions from the global open-source community to meet our unique needs.
- Manage user accounts and roles, and configure the LMS to support educational objectives.
- Develop and maintain custom plugins, and ensure the stability and performance of our Moodle platform.
- Stay up-to-date with Moodle updates and features, and provide training and documentation to colleagues.
- Provide technical support and training to front-line staff, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably with CMS/LMS platforms (Moodle preferred).
- Proficiency in server administration, API development, and integration.
- Knowledge of authoring tools, responsive design, and accessibility features.
- Experience with Git version control, and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
