Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, including clinical assessment, to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental standards
- Facilitate optimal patient care by observing and understanding organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Adhere to organization mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Provide radiologists and vascular surgeons with high-quality imaging and accurate technical impressions
- Perform other duties related to the job classification as required
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology
- ARDMS (CRGS) certification and RVT (CRVS) required
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required
- Proficiency in peripheral arterial doppler, PVR/segmental pressures, and other relevant skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as part of a team
