We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at Trasolini Dagg Construction. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters to develop your skills and knowledge in the trade.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction of residential and commercial buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to lift heavy loads and work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction of buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Work under the guidance of experienced carpenters to develop skills and knowledge in the trade
  • Lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
