About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Gould Quality Construction Ltd. As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will assist our experienced carpenters in various construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of work sites, including cleaning and organizing tools and equipment.
  • Participate in the construction and renovation of buildings, including framing, finishing, and installing fixtures and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the construction industry.
  • Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including mentorship programs and language training.
  • Support for youths, including mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
