Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Express Box Delivery Corp. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in delivery operations.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support delivery operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies related to delivery operations.
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient delivery operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support youth.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
Support for Veterans:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support Veterans.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Recruit Veterans and other candidates with military experience.
  • Assist with immediate transition needs of Veterans.
  • Offer workshops, counseling services, or other resources to support Veterans.
  • Support Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the civilian job market.
  • Offer flexible onboarding options to support Veterans.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Support for Mature Workers:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
