About the Opportunity
The University of Toronto's Department of Psychiatry invites applications for the position of Director of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry. This is a senior academic position that requires a recognized leader in the field of geriatric psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong inter-professional program of academic scholarship, characterized by recruitment, retention, and promotion of productive faculty members.
- Foster collaboration among hospitals affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Division, aligning with the Department's goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Division, ensuring excellence in research, clinical training, and education.
Requirements
- Eligibility for an academic appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
- Recognized academic leader with a demonstrated record of excellence in research, clinical training, and education.
- Ability to develop and implement a strategic plan for the Division.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
