About the Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Domain Consultant Manager to lead our Domain Consultant team in providing technical expertise and guidance to customers on their network security and zero trust journey.

As a Domain Consultant Manager, you will work closely with the Solutions Consultant Managers and their District Sales Manager counterparts to build relationships with customers and help them detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks and breaches.

You will be responsible for developing our Domain Consultant teams, providing training and technical support as a solution expert, and providing feedback to the product management team on new feature requests and product improvements based on what you learn from your customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and hire new Domain Consultants into the team
  • Develop a Domain Consultant training curriculum
  • Mentor, train, and review employees on your team
  • Develop relationships with the Solutions Consultant Managers and their teams
  • Provide effective technical leadership in customer interactions
  • Provide Domain Consultant expertise and fill in for existing team members
  • Innovate and iterate to drive high technical validation and PoC win rates for Network Security solutions
  • Present to customers as our expert in your area
  • Lead conversations focused on industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape
  • Discuss competitor offerings in the marketplace
  • Support your team in documenting HLD and key use cases
  • Review and guide your team's technical validation plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Act as an escalation point for pre-sales and collaborate with post-sales teams
  • Work with product teams to build requirements and roadmap development plans
Requirements
  • Experience managing customer-facing sales engineering or solutions architect teams
  • 5+ years experience in sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE
  • Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD solutions
  • Industry knowledge of security product market trends and directional awareness of our roadmap and technology development efforts
  • Experience delivering comprehensive security solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in leading large teams, allocating resources, managing engagements and resource efficiency
  • Proficient in English
