Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Transports M. Charette. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo loading/unloading to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a valid driver's record.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
